San Francisco Police Parks in Red Zone

by Dennis Goedegebuure

If you really want to go into Starbucks, dying to buy a coffee for some well needed caffeine, you can always park your car in a red-zone at the risk of a very high fine. If you’re a San Francisco police officer, you just park right next to the fire hydrant, because rules and the law don’t really apply to you. There were plenty of parking spots around, but that would have meant he had to walk a little further than just cross the street. I have a lot of respect for the police, IF they follow the same laws as any civilian need to follow. The traffic rules apply for everybody, especially for the police!

This San Francisco police officer just parked right next to a fire hydrant, in a red zone. Nobody said anything, and he got away with it easily! Not the first time I’ve seen SFPD park conveniently in violation with traffic law.
